RIYADH — Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore has been crowned FC Pro World Champion 2025 after defeating France’s Brice “Brice” Masson of Team Vitality in a thrilling 5-3 grand final at the Esports World Cup.
The victory marks ManuBachoore’s second world title, having first won in 2023, and delivers Team Liquid’s third championship of this year’s tournament — a historic feat as no club has previously won three titles at a single Esports World Cup.
From Play-Ins to Champion
ManuBachoore entered the event through the play-ins, dominating the group stage with only one loss. His main event journey was much tougher, with multiple single-goal wins showcasing the high level of competition.
In the grand final, both players traded goals in a high-intensity clash. Leading by just one goal late in the game, ManuBachoore sealed victory with a decisive strike to make it 5-3.
Emotional Triumph
“I’m so thankful to God. To be a two-time World Champion is more than I ever asked for,” ManuBachoore said. “I started in the play-ins not even sure I’d qualify — now I’m here with the trophy. It’s a dream.”
Impact on Club Championship Standings
The win earns Team Liquid 1,000 Club Championship points, pushing them to the top of the standings and denying Team Vitality an additional 250 points. Vitality now trails Team Falcons in second place by just 550 points, keeping the race wide open ahead of the final two weeks.
The Esports World Cup 2025 continues until August 17, with upcoming finals in Teamfight Tactics, Rocket League, and Tekken 8.
