DUBAI — US pop icon and actress Ariana Grande has officially begun the press tour for her highly anticipated film Wicked: For Good, captivating fans with a dreamy couture look that blends Hollywood glamour with Middle Eastern design heritage.
Styled by celebrity fashion director Law Roach, Grande wore a pale yellow-green Elie Saab Haute Couture gown from 2004, delicately adorned with lavender floral appliques. The romantic, weightless silhouette subtly echoed her on-screen character Glinda’s whimsical elegance without feeling like a costume.
She paired the look with cream heels, understated diamond jewelry, and soft glam makeup by Matthew Anthony — featuring pink eyeshadow, diffused cat-eye liner, rosy lips, and sculpted cheeks. Her hair, styled in a sleek half-up, half-down look, completed the ethereal aesthetic.
Grande, 32, has a history of championing Arab fashion designers. In 2023, she was spotted in Lebanese designer Andrea Wazen’s Double Jeu platform heels while filming Wicked. The singer has regularly showcased Middle Eastern couture on global red carpets.
Behind-the-scenes photos from the promo tour also feature moments with co-star Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba), where Grande appeared in a pink polka-dot dress and white gloves, channeling vintage glamour with her signature ponytail dyed platinum blonde.
Set for release in November 2025, Wicked: For Good continues the saga of Glinda and Elphaba, with a cast that includes Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Michelle Yeoh, and Marissa Bode. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Grande described reprising Glinda as “a homecoming… I feel like I came home to myself.”
