The body of a Saudi national who tragically drowned in Lake Geneva, Switzerland, will be repatriated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi consulate in Geneva confirmed in an official statement on Sunday.
While the identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed, the consulate stated it is actively coordinating with Swiss authorities to facilitate the repatriation process.
“The consulate is working closely with local Swiss officials and relevant authorities to ensure the return of the body to Saudi Arabia,” the statement said.
